I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with you. I was out of town for work, and just felt a bit "off". After debating with myself for a while, I went to a local drugstore and bought a pregnancy test. Needless to say, I was shocked when I saw a faint pink "plus" sign. I went back to the store and bought FOUR more tests, just to make sure! After I had taken a few more, I called your Dad to share the exciting news with him. I wanted to wait until I got home and tell him in person, but I was just too excited. I wish I could have seen his face, but I could hear the excitement in his voice. He is going to be the best father in the world. We are so excited to meet you and share our life with you!
After 5 pregnancy tests, I really started to believe I was pregnant! We had to wait 4 weeks until our first doctors appointment. I remember feeling so nervous, wondering if we were really going to see you when we had the ultrasound. Your dad and I both had tears in our eyes when we saw you...funny, you were only a little tiny peanut but we still could hear your heartbeat. I can honestly say it was the sweetest, most precious sound I have ever heard. We had so much fun telling our family and friends. Everyone was soooooooo excited about you!
