Here is a fun little art project that is super easy and inexpensive. I have been helping out my friend Danielle redecorate her guest bedroom. I wanted to find some art for above the bed that did not cost a lot of money.
The Dollar Tree has these wooden "Certificate of Achievement" frames that are 8.5" x 11".
I bought 9 of them and used a little primer and spray paint to paint the frames white. They really needed another coat of spray paint but I ran out. I don't think anyone will ever notice.
I also picked up few sheets of scrapbook paper at Michaels to match the new bedding and cut them into smaller rectangles. And then just taped them on to regular computer printer paper.
And here they are all finished. I love that they look like they are in matted frames even though they are just taped onto white paper. Isn't this little collection cute for just under $15?
