Y'all - how fun is this? Cassity over at Remodelaholic invited me to write a guest post about how we made this mirror for our living room. So excited to be featured on her amazingly cool blog :)
That is super cool to get a feature on such an amazing blog! You definitely deserve it for that little beauty, it's amazing! I'm checking it out and I might even think about trying it...but probably only think about it (c:
Marilyn - we actually just used the original brackets that held the mirror in place in our master bathroom. I believe there were 4 or 6 of them (half on top, half on the bottom). We put them in studs on the wall and then slid the mirror in. And then put the frame up over them so you can't see. Hope that helps!
Welcome to our blog! This is my attempt to keep up with our life, our growing little family, and our ever changing home. We have a beautiful three year old, Ashlyn Elizabeth, and a sweet toddler boy - Chase Hampton. I always love hearing from readers...thanks so much for stopping by!

Saw this over at Remodelaholic and just had to come by and say "Hello Newman's" and also "Wow! Gorgeous project!"
Helloooo Newmans!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your mirror project!! How did you hang the mirror on the wall?
Wow! This is awesome!!! Could you have Christopher help give Hart some wood working lessons? I mean that would be so helpful around the house!

Awesome Anne, I'm headed over to check it out now. Congratulations.
Congratulations on the feature. Heading over to take a peek.
That mirror is stunning! It looks way too hard to do (for me) but I'm heading over to see how you went about it... xx
